THE POSITION AND HOW TO GET THERE:

-The eco-centre is located between Banja Luka (40 kilometers from the city) and Prijedor (30 kilometers from it), south of Omarska.

-You can get there by the highway from Banja Luka or from Prijedor through Omarska, or by the railway from the same places to Omarska.

-The nearests airport is located in Banja Luka area (60 kilometers far from the eco-centre).

 

NATURAL FEATURES:

-Endless deciduous forests, and clearings in the wood, and coniferous forest at the area of 75 acres around the Centre itself.

-The forests abound in forest fruit and in feathered an big and small game (pheasants, mallards, squirrels, hares, fohes, Does, wild boars, wolwes)

-Numerous springs and brooks abound in freshwater shrimps, shellfish and fish.

-Ten arrtificial lakes for fish farms, sports fishing and water sports and swimming.
